i planted garlic (lots of garlic) with Sonja on friday, it was freezing to the fingers though worth it.

i am going to plant a field of hemp and flax in the spring so put your orders in early.

it is cold here- cold and gloomy sky hangs overhead and i wish for a little sun.

i remember back to summer which now seems forever ago in the darkening recesses of fall.

i got some ripe ripe peaches with which i will make a bunch of yummy sweet curd.

Summer is running now
and i am starting to panic
my mind is spinning to the end of summer,
right through fall
trudging into winter and out again into spring

summer is glorious and short, and spending time outside in loose clothing is actually an option
which should be pursued as much as possible

so yesterday i ended my evening as a garden gnome in sonja's garden as she planted carrots.
i was sitting with my knees curled up in warm soil with the growing moon in front of me and the silhouette of beautiful spent poppy stems around me.

it is chilly and cool today, verging on rain, though we shall see if we actually receive the blessed't rain.
