summer time in a hardware store is fast fast busy

time will fly and if i can just remember to drink enough water and eat healthy food i should maintain a happy mood throughout the WHOLE day.

it has been two days of work

and it is good

it is lovely to see and work again with these hardwaring people and i was surprised that many customers remembered me.

crazy crazy busy though everyone has summer work

so i am jumping in feet first

and in one day i move back into my apartment

and it will be like i never left

though before that happens i am alone in my parent's house and loving the solitude

realizing i have not been alone alone for three months and it is sweet surrender

realizing that i have missed walking around naked

okay okay i was alone in the wilds of beartrap

but i had neighbours and no doors and so i was more. . .

anyway

i am enjoying an added level of quiet that only comes with the seperation of space with walls and doors.

counting down the minutes now

first day of work tomorrow. . .
what will, will be

my duties as official photographer. . .

and the one of the few times i took many pictures of where i was and the company of the many good spirited people with whom i was delighted to be among.

before i know it and even though i will push against all odds to prevent it
there are wider worlds and they include not seclude or ex
no email no telephone no internet
there are worlds upon worlds
that are not false but are wishing deeply
for more and an experience
of awe. 4 people at a bar
in the middle of the windy sunny afternoon at the Bonnyville Hotel
laughing and carrousing at 4 o'clock in the afternoon
do i drink?
there are moments of purity;
wishing for remembrance back to the flow

thea my gurlie! thank you my lovely friend. you know not how beautiful you are. you were so kind to me, especially under such stress. there were some moments of confusion and uncertainty, but we managed AND i found a new vodka

bikes as an excellent mode of transportation in amsterdam if you do not live in the centre of the city.

it is hard to come down from the high of travelling however
life is lived in the mundane details and to make joy and find beauty close to home is key to contentment. That and a certain 'come and go' sweet knowledge of letting go big breath out.

Yesterday i pulled out all the dirty, mouse stained carpet from the loft up stairs, swept and cleaned, now it is ready for. . .the next step what ever that maybe. Everything in good time
Afterwards I went swimming and that was the right next step for me. Lovely cool june water felt good to get my body clean and fresh.

every time i go in i am convinced jenny comes in a little further, by the end of my stay she may be a swimming dog!

I will be back in Edmonton in about two weeks. And then it is back to paid employement.
