everyone deserves blessings
and everyone can give blessings

blessings are not always fun
sometimes
often come in more subtle packages

it is a ukrainian orthodox tradition in spring to remember ancestors and those who have died
with blessings and food (food to give away and food to eat together)
by doing so there is a chance to remember blessings and bless our life and people living now.

BRRRR!
it is sooooo cold today
with snow forcasts across the edmonton area
Luckily i can be inside today and i have done my planting on saturday (three kinds of potatoes, four kinds of onions, red russian kale, two kinds of carrots, arugula, turnips, rainbow chard, beets, drunken woman lettuce, radishes, broad beans, and amaranth) when it was sunny, beautiful with a delightful breeze. yahoo!
